[PATCH] Drop fine-grained privileges on Illumos/Solaris

Does this look a bit better?

Did anyone have any more comments/concerns on this patch after my last
revision? Just wondering how to proceed from here or what the usual way
forward is. Do I need to file a bug on bugzilla.mindrot.org for it?

Sorry to make noise on the list about it -- I did look around on the
site for advice on how to send in patches but it only seems to offer
advice about reporting bugs (I guess this could be a kind of bug?)

Enhancement requests with patches can certainly go into bugzilla,
that way they will not get forgotten, and eventually someone will
take a closer look.
