Dear Developers,
In the Open SSH package, we have only V3 of sftp. Here the
mode of transfer is only binary.
According to the below link I find there are later versions
of the SFTP protocol that have been defined, but not available in OpenSSH.
Can these later versions of SFTP be included in the later
releases of OpenSSH package.
I am currently working on AIX systems. If you need any
support please let me know

Sorry, but we have no intention of supporting the later
SFTP versions. In fact, adding "text" transfer modes to the
protocol was the proximal reason why we don't - we consider it
a bad idea.

There are 3rd-party sftp servers you can use with OpenSSH that do support
the later drafts if you can't bring yourself to convert things on the
endpoints.

Thanks. There are a lot of features of the real FTP protocol which
might be desirable, but the inline rewriting of file content has
always been a very dangerous, easily misused one.
